Women’s March – Chicago – 2017

The misogynist and sexist nature, and the policy proposals put forth, in the 2016 presidential election spurred women’s marches across the globe, advocating for women’s rights, immigration, healthcare, racial equality, LGBTQ rights, freedom of religion, workers’ rights, and tolerance. In Chicago, over 250,000 people gathered on a cold January 21st morning. It was the largest single-day protest in U.S. history.
