We all saw what we saw. It was a cold-blooded assassination. An undeniable crime. We can parse it out, watch all of the videos frame by frame, and easily prove what we all witnessed. It’s clear. She’s about to simply drive off. She’s smiling and talking to her killer. Her wife is outside the car, making fun of the ICE agents, telling them she’s a veteran. Their dog is in the back seat, looking out the window. The last thing you can hear Renee Good say, to none other than her killer, is that she doesn’t hate him. And then he murders her. And then someone clearly says, fucking bitch.
And then this killer, this deranged madman, walks over to the car, looks inside, and flees the scene. Other agents keep a pleading doctor from rushing to her aid. Later, within hours, the President of the United States tells the world a completely different reality. A fabrication. It’s repeated by the Secretary of Homeland Security, the National Security Advisor, the Vice President, and dozens of other Republicans. Before you know it, the same non-reality is filling up the comments sections, our friends’ feeds, spilling out of the mouths of the willing participants in this madness that is literally gunning us down in the streets. They slander a woman who was just murdered in front of all of us, a woman who has children, a wife, a family that loves her. The President, the Vice President, these people who have so much power, telling us that she was deranged, part of a network of domestic terrorists, that she threatened the lives of federal agents and tried to kill them, even that the murderer was injured and hospitalized, and in any case, justified in his violence and free from any wrongdoing. All such easily refutable lies. Yet they said it. And they keep saying it, and these idiots, these fucking idiots that make all of this madness possible, are repeating it. Shouting at people that they shouldn’t believe what all of us witnessed with our own eyes.
We’re all Renee Good now. We’re all the person who can be murdered in cold blood in the street. In front of our families. The person they can slander and turn into a bogeyman, for all of their loved ones to have to endure. Just so they can manipulate their base to accept the violence that they want to rain down on all of us.
Yeah, we’re all that person now. Is that clear to everyone? Any one of us can be a domestic terrorist. Deranged. Out for blood. Using our cars as weapons. Our words as weapons. And all of us deserve to die if we question their authority. With no hope of any justice.
