In the evening of Wednesday, July 17th, there was a vigil for Harith Augustus. Friends and colleagues said a few words outside of the barber shop where he worked. Afterwards a few people blocked 71st street until the police arrived. People peacefully retreated to the sidewalks but wanted some answers about the usual protocol surrounding the use of body cams. The police asked them to direct any questions to headquarters at 35th and Michigan. It got a little tense as people vented their frustrations with the lack of answers and how they feel they are treated in general by the police.
